▫️Last days of Lee Fether exhibition | Aleksandra Niemczyk workshops announced
▫️ Plus: Bernard Spencer guest exhibition | Dates for your diary.
Dear friends and supporters,
This weekend marks the final days of Lee Fether’s hugely successful show at Gallery White Box.
‘Still Structures’ has enjoyed great feedback from visitors and collectors, and will be open from 11-6 on the 29th, 30th, and 31st of August in Blackheath, South London.
If you can’t make it along, you can now see the work in our online shop - but nothing beats a trip to see the paintings in person (and perhaps a pint outside the Hare and Billet to toast the last days of summer!).

After Lee’s exhibition, the gallery has provided space for a guest event with writer and artist Bernard Spencer from 3-10 September.
Bernard Spencer: “On Second Thoughts” | 3-10 September 2025
A book launch and exhibition of drawings by Bernard Spencer, curated by Mia Spencer.
🗓️ 3-10 September, 2025 / Open every day (11am-5pm).
🥂 Private view & book launch: Wednesday 3rd September, 6-8pm - RSVP.
“From the moment he quit his ‘safe’ apprenticeship in a London lab at 18 years old and walked into Chelsea Art School in the early 1960s, Bernard has devoted himself to art.
He has spent the last seven decades exploring all artistic mediums, from filmmaking to photography, living and working in London and New York, working in film and TV, teaching at the prestigious VGA film school in NYC. Throughout this life of artistic endeavour, he has continually returned to the essential visual arts of painting and drawing, the bedrock of his oeuvre.
Bernard has more recently added writing to his artistic expression, and so we are excited to present his latest exhibition, ‘On Second Thoughts.’
The exhibition comprises drawings from his book of drawings, ‘On Second Thoughts,’ that accompany his novel, ‘Maybe Once.’ The two folio works form a conceptual ‘whole’; together they express the truth of this autobiography-as-novel.
The drawings will be available to purchase as very limited edition prints or as a book of art-quality prints alongside the novel.”
